Classic WoW Gold Farming Spots
A great way to make some extra gold while leveling up is by incorporating two gathering professions in your WoW Classic gameplay. Gathering skills like Mining and Skinning give you a steady income of resources that can be sold at the Auction House or used in crafting recipes for more money.
1. Plaguelands
This is one of the top classic wow gold farming spots, especially for Mages who can AoE farm here. The northern part of Felwood is a gold farmer’s paradise as it features a large amount of Frayfeather Hippogryphs that drop Long Elegant Feathers which can be used to make Thick Leather and Rugged Leather. Located north of the Blackrock Foundry in Silithus, this zone is great for Hunters and Warlocks who can solo a lot of the mobs here. It also has a ton of rich thorium veins for miners. It’s also a good spot for Druids as they can make a decent amount of money from herbalism in the area by simply staying in Travel Form and sniping herbs off mobs that are too high level.
Besides herbs, the area has lots of Frayfeather Hippogryphs that drop Long Elegant Feathers which sell well at auction house. Then there are the squids that drop Linen Cloth which is good for Skinning. Lastly, the hippogryphs in the north of the zone have a chance to drop Imperfect Draenethyst Fragment or Flawless Draenethyst Sphere that can be turned in to Kum’isha in the same area for Green and Blue items.
